I hereby agree to return any library materials that I borrow from The Jefferson County Library System before or on the due date printed on the receipt for said borrowed materials. I understand and agree that if I fail to return said library materials to the Jefferson County Library System within the designated period of time allowed by library policy, that such failure constitutes "Theft of Property" as defined by Tennessee Code Annotated Section 39-14-103, and that I may be prosecuted pursuant to the law. I further understand and consent that if I fail to return said library materials to the Jefferson County Library System within the designated period of time allowed by library policy, said library and its employees, agents and representatives may, pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated Section 10-8-120(b), published my identity, the titles and/or names of the materials that I borrowed and any amounts that I owe to said library in any manner they so choose, including but not limited to any newspaper of general or limited circulation, internet or electronic communication method, public posting, etc. I understand and agree that if I fail to return said library materials to the Jefferson County Library System within the designated period of time allowed by library policy, my delinquent account may be turned over to an agency or attorney for collection and if so I agree to pay for the costs, expenses and attorney's fees associated with said collection. I hereby apply for the privilege of borrowing items from the Jefferson County Public Library System. I promise to obey its rules, to pay whatever fines or fees I may incur in the use of this care. I will give IMMEDIATE NOTICE TO THE LIBRARY OF any change of address. I have read and agree to all of the above Materials Loan Agreement.
