Join Our Living History Project

Our libraries, the Living in White Pine TN admin team, and the White Pine History Committee are collaborating on a Living History Project about COVID and how it has impacted our local area, and your help is needed. We are accepting submissions to be a part of the project.

We would love to have photos and stories of how the pandemic affected you or your family. This can include stories and a photo of family members or loved ones who lost their life during the pandemic and/or stories about how you and your family were personally affected socially, economically, politically or psychologically. We would also like to have stories of how you personally dealt with having COVID or caring for a loved one during the pandemic. You may also include stories of your personal opinion on government mandates, vaccine status, masks and any side effects. Stories of hospitalizations or nursing home experiences are desired. Stories of your work environment encountering different situations and people. Once gathered and sorted, this collection will preserved at the White Pine Library future generations.
